Cabela’s Guide Model Fanny Pack Review
A good fanny pack is something every hunter should have in his gear closet. A fanny pack can be combined with almost any other size pack, and comes in handy for short scouting or tracking adventures.
Cabela’s has several packs that fall into the fanny pack category. Here is a field test review of the Cabela’s Guide Model Fanny Pack. This fanny pack is made of quiet CT450 Plus material has rigid reinforcing rods to add strength, structure and stability. Has a handsomely large 1,300-cubic-inch capacity, and measures 16-1/2″L x 11″H x 7″W.

Here is review by Ian McMurchy. In it he says “This pack is beautifully made. The stitching throughout is very strong and I did not encounter any flaws or weak-spots. The snaps and buckles on the pack are easy to locate and adjust and they are adequate for any load.”
And then went on to say: “I used the Guide Model Fanny Pack on several recent hunts and I can honestly say that it is a winner. Cabela’s did a great job of designing a practical piece of gear for the hunter who likes to hike and carry a significant amount of gear comfortably.”
